Best laptop reviewer!
will they change the processor to 10th gen in 2020?
And the winner of YouTube’s best technology reviews goes to…..(drum roll please) Lisa!
what happens if the flash drive breaks after a few years?
In Europe the 2699 model only exist. Too bad. Also note that the graphic card is not betetr that a nvidia 1050, a low price entry card.
Ram are not upgradable neither SSD. Choose well when you buy it.
I love linus; mkbhd etc but this channel deserves those kind of numbers as well. Really loving watching these reviews.
Lisa likes those speakers! almost as much as her Thinkpad keyboards.
That t shirt is so dope.
Why sodder on ram and ssd? When she mentioned it’s a motherboard base repair. Isn’t that a bad idea if the main ssd let’s say fried and the motherboard is what reads off the ssd. Then come to realize Apple would give you a bad excuse to purchase another expensive laptop. How does that function? That’s why up-gradable ssd and ram is a preserver for a device you’ve spent your hard earn dollars to last you for say 10 yrs. Shoot! I had my 2007 macbook pro for 9 years till it gave out on me (the body falling apart an all). Now I use a mid 2012 refurbished macbook pro with upgrades of 1tb ssd and 16gb of ram. Seriously!
nice :)!
Who’s not gonna buy this laptop but is just watching it’s reviews for no real reason.
I never understood what all the gripe is about wanting a 4K touch screen. I had one on my Razer pro 17inch a couple years ago. You can barely notice 4K in that small of a screen and I hated having a touch screen because I wouldn’t want anyone touching the screen leaving fingerprints or potentially scratches. She kind of contradicts herself stating that she went from a 4K laptop to the MacBook Pro and could barely notice the difference in screen quality. Then why would you WANT a touchscreen? Either way nice looking laptop. Looking at getting one soon. Either way, good review like always 🙂 and thanks for the advice before making a big purchase.
How’s the heat? Does it get warm on the palms with regular use? Also what’s windows 10 like on it? Have you tried that yet?
I have to disagree with you Lisa! A “half an inch” makes a big difference in which way I swipe! 😂😂😂
“Still very very expensive”
Having watched several dozen 16” MBP reviews as I wait for mine to arrive, I have to say, best review I’ve seen. Just subscribed.
still garbage, still overpriced, still not gonna buy

Great review!
I got mine in November, got it pretty much maxed out for all the specs. Expensive as hell but it’s been worth every penny so far. The new keyboard is SO NICE (I hated the butterfly keys), and it’s just so dang powerful. Running a ton of dev environment stuff with multiple monitors, and streaming music, and lots of chat applications = doesn’t even break a sweat. The audio is indeed amazing, but I was most impressed by the microphone, I can join a video call without using headphones, in a loud coffee shop, and the mic hardly picks up any background noise. Some kind of wizardry going on there!
My only gripe with it is the lack of repairability. I won’t need to upgrade mine since I got it maxed out, but I hate the idea that any major component failing will require a system board replacement… yuck! I got the extended Apple Care so if it doesn’t break down by the time that runs out… I’ll probably sell it while the sellin’s still good.
Do T2 crashes persist?
5700xt hold my graphics power.
The 5500 is a low end GPU. And priced to high. Everyone that is building a PC will pass on it for the rx580 or just spend money for the 5700xt or 1660 super.
