Wonderful video again guys. As I said on previous videos I love the new Air but at the price I’m not convinced who it’s target market is? Also here in the UK upgrading the SSD and RAM comes in at a whopping £400 which is insane in this day and age!

Macs are known for their longevity. Would buying the pro be better for future proofing sake? Or would either model be fine

This is actually a very difficult descision for me. I live in Norway, so everything is like at least 25% more expensive. The 15″ macbook air 24gb/512 gb ssd costs about 2500 dollars. Meanwhile the 14″ 16gb/512 gb ssd costs 2550 dollars. I am going into university as a backend programmer student. I don’t know which one I should get tbh. I could get the 15″ but 16 gigs of ram instead, that would be about 2200 dollars, a bit cheaper.

I have had three MacBook Pro’s, two 13″ and one 15″…I am on a ASUS Zephyrus G14 right now after my Blade 14 broke….I think 14″ is truly the best sized laptop if you already have a good workstation and need the best balance of portable but still large sized screen.

Why didn’t you update the 14” MacBook Pro to MacOS 13.4 before running the benchmarks? You want your test bench comparisons to be as equal as possible.

It’s not “pro” for nothing… Honestly, better buying a 16” for an inch more but of course it’s a bit expensive. But you really got a difference between the 14” pro 🙂

if you gona update the 15 ” air to the 14″m2 spec, just buy the 14″m2. literally som uch better to get 14m2.

I’m glad I went with 14” pro.. Looked at them side by side in store and it was a no brainer.. Air screens just look washed out in comparison.. Good Vid

That’s the problem…they are not. Why would anyone want to buy a fan-less MacBook Air, which is well-documented to overheat, when they can get a MacBook Pro – with fans- for the same price? I really would like to know who keeps making all their stupid pricing decisions. The MacBook Air should always be cheaper than the MacBook Pro…Always.
