Hi, I wanna ask about mac air m1 software support. does it still worth it if i bought that mac air m1 now for 5 years used and how long mac air m1 still get macos updates? thanks
Is there enough room for 2 usb c / as card a slot at the right side of the body ?
Really none tear down but SMH Apple still only put 1 256 gb chip instead of 2 128s, kinda makes sense on their part but that’s messed up
This is the best channel 🎉
I have been waiting to see whats inside this from the day 1… thanks bro
Man, I love your reviews the most, but I can not believe you disassembled and touched several sensitive areas without a proper ESD set-up.
You are at the professional level now. Please learn about the importance of ESD and what it could easily damage.
Keep in mind that thousands are watching your videos around the world, and subscribers could be trying to do what you are doing. So they may damage their machines.

so the question would be whether the 512G version would be using 2x256G ot single 512G nand
Apple could have added a bigger battery, if they could have made the device practically thicker.
Do you have any plans to show a comparison of performance between the MacBook Pro M1 Ultra and the MacBook Pro M2 Ultra?
That’s apple right there ❤❤❤❤❤
It’s just apple’s excuse. Making it lighter will affect the sales of the 13inch.
Just saw that in person at Apple Store today. The 15″ air is lighter than the 14″ Macbook Pro.
Great teardown. I am just amazed about the effort they put into the design. Worried at the same time for repairability. Do you think it is more resistant to water damage?
So the question is: how much storage do you have to configure in order to get two NAND chips?
worth the upgrade from M1 2020 MacBook air?
“Can’t Believe “ said the guy who been reviewing Apple products since the beginning of time!!
Remember: newer things on the right, older — on the left
Great job! Cannot get more real world than this. Very “insightful”. You guys are used to it, but every time you do a tear down of a MacBook, my heart is in my mouth. Keep up the good work.
even 399$ steam deck have double the ram than this machine…
Its ashamingfor apple that they do this single chip design due their “dirt cheap prices” i can’t believe that theircalculation is so tight that they don’t have a chance to do other. Its just a piss-take of the customers. i keep my opinionthe bigger MBAs are kind of pointless, if you just WANT an Airbook but don’t need the performance then M1 MBA Base (which has also the faster SSD even in Base config) if you bump up to recommended config (at least 16 GB /512 GB) then you are damned close to the MBPro, which offers a lot of other improvements (with only the downside of not be only passive cooled, but i don’t think thats a real problem). So in my opinion the complete M2 MBA line up makes not much sense as long the M1 MBA is still available by apple brand new. The performance Difference between M1 and M2 is neglectable (especially if you accept the downgrade in SSD-Speed compaired to the prior version. If you cant neglect the perfomance downgrade than you have to go at least for 512 GB, if SSd speed is an issue , than swapping has to be avoided, therefore at least 16 GB of RAM (it also suits the durability of the SSD) then you are only 15% below an MB Pro which brings up a lot of improvements and tends not to thermal throttle so fast (if speed is an issue), it allows higher specs if needed. It has a much better screen (120 Hz, higher resolution, higher brightness: MBP14 3024 x 1964 pixel @ 254 ppi, MBP16 3024 x 1964 pixel @ 254 ppi, MBA15 2.880 x 1.864 Pixel @ 224 ppi, MBA13 2560 x 1664 Pixel @ 224 ppi), more ports, SD-card Reader.
