I’ll wait for the 15″ M7 Macbook Air if there is one, and probably the base model will have 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. I only bought the 14″ M1 Pro last year. 😅

Correct, my 14inch Lenovo died after I spilled tea on it, before than I had the 15inch macbook pro. I was eyeing the M1/M2 air for a long time but the 13inch screen was just too small for me….. I had been wishing for a 15inch macbook air, I didnt want the pro since it was much much more expensive and also much heavier. Ordered the 15 air right away.

You are evading the eleohant in the room. Why NOW!!? The M3 is expected to be just around the corner. Maybe as soon as October 2023. Why would anyone buy an M2 MacBook Air now, when an M3 version may araive in jast a couple of months.

What was apple thinking, and what are they planing to do? Will they update the 15″ when the M3 is released? The will make the M2 15″ the shorest lived Mac in history! It will surely cause massive backlash from all the customers that will feel decieved by Apple. Will they sell a faster and cheaper M3 13″, in parallel with a slower and more expensive M2 15″? This will deffinitly case massive confusion for Apples customers!

My advice to anyone who thinks avout buying on of these is, stay frosty. Wait a couple of months, and see how Apple handles this. That’s what I will do. It may be a sucess, but could just as well be Apples buggest failure since the Trashcan!

An M3 15″ MacBook Air would be a guaranteed sucess!

I am confused between 13′ MBA with 16 GB RAM or 15′ MBA base model. I am a CS student whose budget is tight and who plans to use this machine for a long time. Will a bigger size benefit me or should I go towards RAM for longevity?

Why no one mentions iMovie any more, this laptop can handle everthing!. I think we reached the point where unless you’re in the top 1% of power users, the M2 base model has you completely covered for the entire life of the machine, what 5 years before you want to replace. I mean no one needs more speed than this unless you’re in the 1%. Oh have to say, as usual these are absolutely brilliant reviews, I always come here first for insight.
