Not a Mac user, but man that looks gorgeous esp the screen! Any recommendations for Windows counterparts? I’ve looked into XPS 15 but it’s a bit too powerful for my daily use and don’t want heat/battery life problem from that.

Whoever buys this over the M1 Pro 14 is legit stupid AF…only the base model is worth it if you can justify paying this much for 8gb and 256gb with slower SSDs than an M1 air…now if you add more ram and storage you are LEGIT DUMB

Thanks for the speaker comparison (that Asus S13 sounds sad..). Would’ve loved to see it compared against the older M1 MBA or 13 MBP as this would be what people upgrade from.

@Dave2D, they said read/write speeds is faster with the 512GB SSD of the MBA so not sure if RAM should be prioritized as an upgrade here. Thoughts?

MacBooks Air MX chip devices have become really nice. It really is a big win but I still get very uncomfortable to main these. I would have loved to go with one for Software Development but getting one with more than 16gb ram and min. 2TB storage it just gets so fricking expensive and unworthy that I have to skip them.
In the end of the day a Linux driven i5-13500, 2x 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz Ram and a M.2 NVME 2TB SSD is just cheaper.
