I love how dozens of YouTube videos talk for 10 minutes each about whether to choose 8 or 16 GB of RAM and what the difference is between the different SSDs, and Dave manages to squeeze it into two sentences. Amazing

for 200$ you can get 2TB of replaceable SSD on windows laptops. apple is dead to me :

soldering ssds,
overcharging 4x the price per TB
headphone jack removed
250$ wireless airpods when wired ones were a nice 20-25$
removing my comments on apple discussions which had the above points saying that i gave non constructive criticism . ABOMINATION APPLE…

oreder a lenovo legion pro 5i and soon enough i’ll be tossing this iphone xr where it belong: in the garbage.

apple is dead.

I still love my 13 inch M2 MacBook Air because I just don’t like big laptops but yes I agree this 15 inch Air will be Apple’s most popular laptop

I would like to just emphasise one thing about this laptop. This is just 15 inch variant of M2 MacBook Air. The same MacBook that was announced last year at WWDC. And it has M2 chip in it, which is just upgraded M1. Built on the same architecture as M1 from 2020. What I am getting at is that this laptop is going to be miles better when Apple will upgrade it to M3 next year. It will be a much much better buy then than it is today. It is a great laptop, but it is now at least 1 year old, because its just bigger version of MacBook Air M2 from WWDC 2022!

Can i get an 18 inch macbook air pro that uses the M2 Pro, moves the APU to behind the screen, and uses heatpipes and a massive 18 inch vapor chamber to turn that aluminium screen panel into a heat sink, heck you could do something like Airtop did with their airtop 3, make the aluminium plate 2 layers with heat small aluminium fins to hold the two sections and spread the heat, i bet an 18 inch screen could dissipate close to 30w if given the airtop treatment, then again it wouldnt be a thin air any more.

I’ve pointed out in other reviews, but the problem is that once you upgrade the RAM and SSD, it’s very close to the 14 inch Macbook Pro where you give up an inch to have a superior display, better performance, and better i/o which can save you further cash. The older generation 14 / 16 inch pros are even better deals.

What sucks about the 8GB / 256 GB base config, with the outrageous upgrade costs, is that they’re kind of forcing themselves into offering the same exact thing for the M3 series.
