25% greater surface area will make a massive difference when splitting screens 🙌. Great advice for going for more RAM! Definitely makes more sense to prioritize this.

I will never understand why Apple killed the basic MacBook which was clearly intended for “casual” users, nor business people or pro. Having a 15 inch Air defies the logics of being an Air to me.

Given the extra room they should’ve added maybe at least one extra usb port for value add over the 13 inch Air. Also would be nice if the 14″ had a Uniqfind skin on it. I see them everywhere now in coffee shops.

FINALLY! A video that goes straight to the point with RAM & SSD! this is just me of course but I probably would definitely go for a Air 15 then a Pro but only upgrade the RAM to 24GB. Yes it seems overkill but I would keep the MacBook for many years and will run really well. People can disagree 24GB is a too much Ram but I 24GB with 256 SSD is a good combo since I external HDDs anyway

IMO if you need to upgrade the ram or the SSD just get the PRO. For normal, everyday users 8/256 is plenty. If you were to upgrade both with the AIR you are basically in base 14inch PRO territory and getting a far superior machine.
