Guys i need a good 15 inch laptop for movies and web browsing, i have ps5 for gaming. I tried macbook air m1 but it just isn’t for me plus it’s too small. I need a great screen and decent processor. Would getting an oled be a gamble because of burn in? This 15 inch macbook is way to pricy for me.

If I want play Death Stranding as well, do you guys suggest me to get the 15 inch plus a Steam Deck or straight up 16 inch MBP M2 Max? I do hope to get M3 series of chip tho because it likely to have ray tracing hardware. I love PS5 but I not sure where I will move to later so a home console I not sure is ideal right now unless it is free for me.

I know the pros are probably better buy for video editing but im tempted to buy a fully loaded 15 air just for the perfect middle ground size between the 14 and 16 and lightness.

@Dave2D the only thing you left out was how heavy it feels. I am still rocking a 13″ mid 2014 macbook pro. It’s so odd that it also has only 256GB storage and 8GB of ram being nearly 10 years old. Oh and you didn’t mention what was on the right side of the device! Is there a HDMI, SD card reader, extra usb, yada yada!

The 13” M1 air had better speakers than the 13” M2 air, it’s not about the number or size of the speakers but the quality.

Pointless device, you have to add the RAM so you get 16GB and 256GB more SSD is needed and by then you’re at 14 MBP referb model price point. Then you have a real problem. The MBP is significantly better, screen, speakers, ports, and performance..

I don’t see the appeal of the larger air – portability is far more important than a little extra screen size.
