Don’t encourage apple on 8/256 as as options i just can’t believe that we’re in 2023 and 256 storage is still an option… 8gb of ram is also incredibly stupid as well since if you choose 16gb ram you’re in PRO territory.

They can keep 120hz for pros but for the love of god make 512/16gb the base options on your computers and i will buy all of them in an heartbeat.

256should be the minimum storage size in phones and tablets not laptops

Hey Dave, looking to buy a base model mac air for high school. Not gonna be using it for anything super stressful but just wondering if the m2 13 is worth it over the m1. Would very much appreciate a reply, love your stuff man!

Before I bought my M1 MBA I worried so much about whether I should pay for the extra ram or get the base model on discount. I can say 2 years later that I have never even one time noticed a lack of ram and I’m very happy I didn’t shell out the $ for it. I’m a software engineer tho, not a video editor.

When the 13inch M2 came out, I thought the 16/512 version was way too expensive which made it too close to the 14inch pro. Now the 15inch really makes the 14inch pro a better deal since you can find the “old” m1pro models for big discounts.
