I bought a MacBook Pro 2020 and it just fried, didn’t use it much in the 3 years
Not impressed with Apple right now
I will run it over a couple of times with my SQ5

It does not have a fan, the screen is still the same (crashed blacks, slow refresh rate), the battery life hasn’t improved over the 13 inch. What else? Limited number of ports. For people getting the 512/16 model, I don’t see why would anyone get this over a refurbished m1 or m2 Pro. Weight? They almost weight the same, but this has a humongous footprint.

Same old story. Best hardware but mostly useless as a device. Everyone talks about what it is but nothing ca say abou what it does. I have 512 GB “laptop” M2 ipad – nearly useless, my sister gave me her apple laptop, again nearly completly useless. Even the very basic office editing is a cringe and very bad experience, as for work… no chance. Everyone likes to mention video editing but how many people does that and on a laptop over all, and how many of the people who does don’t need to also use office to write script do some planing and so on? The margin of people who should get this is small and this goes for all their laptops. You need to 1. Don’t really need one or 2. Do a very specific task tha uses 1 specific software that runs on apple. Apple for school? No decent office no spss, for work, no office no compatibility with various security software or devices like gemalto or global vpn so you are locked out of a lot of goverment sites and you still need a windows machine… buy it just for hardware? Fine I can go for that, can we flas a linux and move on with our lives? Not really. The best you can du is dual boot an alpha version of a linux distro because everything is so cringe to work with and locked up that not even linux devs bother with it.
Too bad for the hardware of any apple device, but software part is 30 years behind everyone else.

I think I should downgrade my laptop, I use a M1 MacBook Pro 14in and it’s not really used to its full potential. I think id rather go with the lighter M2 MacBook Air

I have my 13 inch listed on facebook marketplace so i can buy the 15 inch instead, and now nobody wants the 13 lol. Apple is offering 750 on a trade in and I’m debating on just taking that…:/

Quick question. Should I upgrade from my 2021 MBP M1 to the 15in air with 24gb Ram? I do alot of 4k video editing and want to know if te 15in MBA can handle it.

I’m a windows user & I’ve always known MacBooks have outstanding speakers but still, I have to admit I was blown away by the bass coming out of a device that slim. My gaming laptop that’s probably double the thickness doesn’t have anywhere near that audio capability.
