I personally would always go for storage instead of RAM if I can only have one upgrade.
8GB is pretty irrelevant for like 99% of the stuff when you don’t edit videos on a daily or whatever. But storage? It’s a pain if I would always have to use external storages. Having those 512GB is SO much nicer than having more RAM that you probably won’t end up using but having to use external storage all the time.

When people complain about Nvidia putting just 8gb of ram on their GPUs and charging $100 for an upgrade to 16, I always think of Apple.

is it really thin? is it? I still remember previous MacBook, it was thinner and it was on intel with coolers. I don’t get it, maybe I should go to store to see it, but it doesn’t look thin to me

I love how dozens of YouTube videos talk for 10 minutes each about whether to choose 8 or 16 GB of RAM and what the difference is between the different SSDs, and Dave manages to squeeze it into two sentences. Amazing

I’m a windows user & I’ve always known MacBooks have outstanding speakers but still, I have to admit I was blown away by the bass coming out of a device that slim. My gaming laptop that’s probably double the thickness doesn’t have anywhere near that audio capability.
