I had a 2012 mbpr 15″. Now I have an M1 Pro at 14″. Next purchase will definitely be an M4/M5 at 13″ but with the 2nd gen vision Pro. I feel this is where the next stage in productivity is at!

do you think its a better option than a base m2 pro 14?
once you match the ram and storage the m2 pro becomes really desirable with 120hz, led screen and more ports.

overall good product, but I gotta say… A $1300 premium device releasing with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD in 2023 by default is utterly shameful and embarrasing.

Apple needs to increase storage on the MacBook Air. I would pay the price if it was possible to get at least 5TB of Storage and fastest SSD. Keep the 8TB or make it 10TB for the pro laptop. But Air should be at least 5TB of storage.

As a boomer Mac user since the G5 iMac (I’m 36 lol), I’ve always enjoyed larger screens on Apple computers. For the longest I refused to accept a 13 inch “pro” lol. Love to see them going to this bigger size. I wouldn’t mind a 18 inch MacBook Pro, either.
