8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD are insulting in 2023. I got an Asus Zenbook Pro 14” OLED instead. Battery life doesn’t compare, but it’s faster, has double the RAM and SSD, and has an amazing screen.

My favorite part is “it barely weights more than a bag of milk.” I tell my Canadian friends and then they spend a half hour discussing how far out from Ontario “bag of milk” exists as a concept. 😛

I had to return the 13″ M1 because the screen real estate was a bit too small for my old man eyeballs. I did however get the 15″ M2 model 2 weeks ago and it is the perfect size. I purchased the base model. It is so awesome that I am running Parallels 18 with Windows 11 Pro along with Ventura on the 8gb version. I can toggle between OS’s without a glitch and all my applications run smoothly. The weight is perfect, and it is gorgeous in Midnight. Fingerprints yes but get enough on it and it looks like a design. I am an IT professional and for my purposes running dual OS’s is necessary because I work on both PC’s and Mac’s remotely. Thanks for the video.

The backlight bleed (when watching dark content) is absolutely awful. I hated it so I returned mine yesterday. Coming from a samsung galaxy book 2 pro 360 with an AMOLED screen, this shitty LCD panel was absolutely unacceptable.

Great video and based on how it functions. I’ve been back and forth re the MBP 14” and the MBA 15”. My preference is lightweight. The most taxing thing I do is DJ. Both the MBP and MBA meet spec requirements. After watching this Ithink the MBA wins however will get more than 256G. That’s ancient
