Adobe Premiere keep crashing on Mac tho. Well maybe its more Adobe’s fault than Apple but, overall experience since osX 9 onwards its not as stable as it used to be. The same applies too to it’s iOS sinnce iOS 7 onwards. It is getting buggier and buggier. But i feel they do getting better in the last few months though in mobile OS department with their updates

Took me up till last month to finally get the 2014 MacBook 13″500gb , I’m good . I just enjoy apple products so not justified enough for me .

I had to replace my 2009 17″ MacBook Pro this year (thanks in part to being able to upgrade it over the years), and I just couldn’t justify the cost for the latest iteration of the MacBook Pro. I tried one out, wasn’t a big fan of the keyboard, and really didn’t see much use with the touch bar. I ended up getting a Thinkpad P50, which thus far has been working out great. Kind of bummed that I had to leave Apple, but the Windows transition wasn’t as bad as I had expected.

polerizing keyboard hahahah:))…just say it…it’s a terrible keyboard…you get pain in your finger bones…its like jogging on flipflops

Great review, as always. You mention the clicking (noise) of the keyboard (“feels a little more clicky to me” 9:13). I am very frustrated by the clicking noise of this kind of keyboard. Is this generation (2017) more quiet than the 2016 generation? And is the key travel a little bit enhanced? Do you know or assume that what you experience when using the 15″ model 2017 will be the same when using the 2017 13″ model? Please give a short answer to these questions!

Thank you Lisa, it was driving me absolutely crazy about breaking the bank and getting the 13 inch, but you made me realize this will be a huge waste of money. I’ll wait another year to see if Apple comes to their senses and just get a cheap PC laptop. I’ll take the rest of the money and save for a used car!!
