Yo I just ordered a 15″ model for the exact reason you said, seems expensive for the specs. Would have loved the form factor but concerned my workload (audio production) would be too much for the dual core. Would love to see your review of a 13″

What is Macbook for? Same priced other laptops outperform it in literally every way, and I’m not even talking about gaming, but in literally everything, any kind of development, video editing, creating animations, whatever… even for people that want to show to others how they paid a lot for a computer there are more expensive laptops than this, so it’s not even for snobs. How does this even exist…

The 5-GPUs are essentially rebadged 4-series cards (with slightly higher memory clocks about 2% better performance), but the GPU selections have been shifted down.

Base configuration goes from the 550 to old midrange 555 and the high-end config gets the old build-to-order 560.

Why do Apple charge an extra £1000 for 2tb of storage? It’s 2017, Apple, the cost of memory is getting cheaper as it increases! I customised a 15 Macbook pro with the too specs and 1TB of storage (Not 2) and it was well over £3,000! Why?!

I think replacing everything with usb c is a bit stupid and doesn’t really work at least for now! I mean if you want everything to be usb C at least put more usb c! :c also they’re expensive ;(
