Hi Lisa,

I want to buy the 15 inch and when I work on the key board somehow the 13 inch seems a little more comfortable on my hands because the track pad is not as large. If i spec to 13 inch to i7 ad 1 TB is there a still a big difference in performance. Also like the 13 inch because it fits in my bag and is more portable.

I suspect that Apple did away with the lighted Apple logo so people can immediately identify that the lighted logo user is lower status :-), and Apple is counting on peer pressure to sell more new machines. I hope I’m not cynical ;-).

Still on the fence about ditching my 2013 rMBP for one of these babies…I’d really miss MagSafe and I’m unsure about that keyboard and not looking forward to purchase yet more dongles. Still, it’s undeniably some impressive piece but of kit. Nice review!

I don’t understand why there’s no channel that compared the 13″ touch bar vs no touch bar. There’s a $500 difference. But aside from the touch bar, it also have a better cpu and a larger ssd.

the computer is nice and all, BUT my 2012 mbpr 2,6ghz 16gb ram nvidia gt650 m is equally as fast. i thought an update is due but no, the latest and greatest 2017 maxed out macbook pro (3,1ghz 16gb ram radeon 560pro) is, for my realworld tests just a mere minute faster in most renderings. such as premiere pro/ media encoder or after effects, no matter what render settings i use(open cl, metal, software). so is that computer worth 3500€ no not to me at least. i consider myself a poweruser and im really baffled by those results, mind you 5 years have past since my old mac. anyone any intelligent comments?
