Should I buy it? first laptop for college.
Third first!
Beat videos in the bizz. You are awesome Lisa can’t wait for your iMac Pro review. 👍
I have already got a laptop and do not need another one o!
Disappointed really, they need to just update their 2015 mbp to the latest parts and everyone will be happy. Reducing the prices would help as well
Good vid
your reviews are so clear and detailled thank you
Apple has screwed up being too early and too late to the game, and now, there screwing up being behind the 8-Ball too: software, hardware, apps…. I think that, back in the day, Microsoft had to save them, when the government made them step in and had Gates put up cash, front and back end… Even though I own stock in the fruit, as the kids call it, I don’t buy Apple anymore! Sadly!
If it had better battery life (and for the price point I want DDR4 RAM) I’d love a MacBook Pro 15. I’ll stick to my Asus for now and leave the laptop upgrade for next year.
I’ve just thought of something. What if the reason more than 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM isn’t used in MacBooks is because of an OS compatibility with hardware?
Hardware releases at the pace of software releases.
Intel CPU will support up to 32GB RAM. Just beware though you get higher RAM latency as capacity goes up.
Hi,
Is this the Macbook Pro upgrade for 2017 or just something to tide us over until this Autumn, when Apple usually does it’s new releases? I like Apple but the 2016 and current 2017 Macbook Pros are jut NO-GOs. I’m hoping they’ll do a real upgrade later this Autumn.
lemme just save you some time
It’s exactly the same as last year, except it has updated specs. Still no 32gb option.
Recently bought the 2016 model, so thanks for your opinion on that front, Lisa.
