Personally, I think this computer is an amazing piece of technology. Just think, a computer that is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, but is still faster, has a longer lasting battery, a brighter screen, added functionality (TouchBar), and a trackpad that’s twice as big. I think this is a step in the right direction and can’t wait to see where technology goes next.

I’m surprised you did not mention the absence of Magsafe, which was a great feature and a brilliant invention. All in all I find this new MBP very disappointing. For the first time ever, I find myself considering switching over to a Windows machine… and I hate that feeling!

I’m sorry but Apple has to realize that it’s not a pair of shoes or some sort of fashion statement. It’s technology and Apple was recognized for being innovative and different. Creative but meeting the demands of their consumers. Shame on you Apple. What would Steve Jobs say?

Dear Apple, Lisa Gade is the most influential reviewer of notebook computers. You should listen to her very carefully. Better yet, hire her as a consultant before you roll out a new machine.

Excellent review Lisa! I got the 13″ macbook 2015 with free Beats Solo2 headphones when they had the edu deal going and felt I was missing out on the new vers. I am soooo happy I didnt fall for this “Fubar” Pro. Released a big sigh of relief after watching your video and will be guilt free for another couple of years 🙂

Push and hold on brightness or volume and start sliding your finger to raise or lower. You do not have to lift your finger to adjust the slider. Also I’m sure some sound comes out of the bottom but if you cover the speaker grills with your hand you can definitely tell there is sound coming out of the grills.

I would like to see Apple add touchscreens to their MacBooks, but of course they would have to develop a good, touch-friendly version of MacOS first – so it might take some time.

I’m a security professional and would want to use a lot of VMs
You mentioned that for those who would want to use a VM this is probability not a good option. I also am looking to install Unix on to the laptop. Does that mean that my warranty or protection will be void? Is apple not a right laptop for me. I saw your surface book review too. Is that a better option? Or any other option you would suggest as per my requirement.
Never used an Apple Laptop and always wanted on! :p

I have the mid 2014 MacBook Pro 15 inch, which I ordered with the 2.8 GHz i7 and 1TB Flash. It is a wonderful machine and there is no way I would trade it for the new late 2016 MacBook Pro. If I bought the new one, there is not a single thing I own that I could plug into it without an adapter, and I doubt the CPU would be faster in any way that I would notice.
