I would like to buy one but I don’t know how to use it? I wish you would do a step-by-step video on how to use a MacBook Pro 15 inch that’ll be pretty sweet
All I’m going to say is that the keyboard is by far my favorite keyboard that I’ve ever used. I actually type faster than ever with it. Everyone should definitely try it out.
I’ve used my 2016 MacBook 12 inch for a while, and found this dongle that does it all. It’s made by hootoo
Not Pro. This is “MacBook Air 15 2016”.
The new Macbook Pro 2016 is actually the new Macbook Air… it’s thin, it’s light, but it’s not “Pro”.
Lisa please help! I need a laptop por software development (iOS developmente is one of my main reasons for going for a Mac instead of a PC), some video editing (Final Cut Pro is my other main reason), some hobby illustration (using Photoshop, Illustrator… with Asdtropad on my ipad pro), and running sometimes Windows in a virtual machine for some MS Office work. I’m hoping a 13″ can be enough for that, what do you think?? And, if so… which one would you recommend between the 13″ alternatives: the 2015 13″ Macbook Pro, the 2016 13″ Macbook Pro without touchbar (I’m currently thinking this might be my best option, but I keep going back and forth), or the 2016 13″ Macbook Pro with touchbar.
Your advice would be GOLDEN! Thank you in advance! Thanks for all these awesome reviews!!
I seriously think apple is losing its mind.
I’m guessing – assuming even – that in late Spring 2017 there’ll be a refresh of this 15″ MB Pro. Add in 4-core Kaby Lakes, and to up the RAM to 32GB maximum. Probably still one stick, just with increased density. And by then there’ll be a host of fancy docking stations to get the ports people need in one box, not five converter cables and five dongles. Smarter TB3 docks than the ones for Dell or Thinkpads. Shame Apple didn’t put a usb-c on the base to plug into a quick fit dock. By then, this MBP might be worth considering. Except for that keyboard.
Dongle hell. What a pos
So much screen tearing.
Late 2016 not 15
finally.. someone who actually points out the flaws in apple products…. most reviewers on youtube praise everything about these laptops. I wanted to upgrade my MBP but ill hold on
late 2015? Weird I thought the 13″ only has 2 USB-C port! Yes Touch Screen! I think you are the first one I heard said have a touch screen!
@mobiletechreview – oh you meany!!! Don’t hold out on us. We want the new Razer Blade review 😀 😀 – Love the video. I think it’s a shame Apple has bummed out on their new model. I really don’t understand how such a strategised company has ended up with that touch bar that is essentially the worst avoidance of just having a touch screen known to mankind. it’s so odd. and so disappointing.
You nailed that one right Lisa. Cant argue with you. Old on to your old one.
Hey Lisa, first im a huge fan of yours, but i have a question for you. What laptop has the best screen on clarity and brightness? I have a $2K budget and i want it for movies and some light school work.
Apple is turning into the Electronic Arts of the computer market.
I hate apple, they are the worse, they brain wash all weak minded people
I’m getting a new computer soon I wanted an origin but it’s 17″ and I need something for school and my parents are making me sell my mac for a new computer which means it sucks becuase all have to get a new mac anyone have experience using a 1 inch thick 17″ computer at school is this possible?
Apple has gotten ridiculous in terms of price and lack of functionality across all of their products.
