The keyboard is atrocious. Apple has absolutely ruined the keyboard on the Macbook. Thinness isn’t an excuse either, several manufacturers have integrated super thin design with a practical keyboard (and USB-A ports). The HP Spectre x360, Dell XPS, Lenovo Yoga 910, Surface Book, etc. all have a full travel keyboard and USB-A ports. Apple is focused too hard on siphoning all the money possible from customers instead of being practical.

Put magsafe and an SD slot. Lose the touchbar. Lower the Resolution to FHD. Drop the price.

Only reason I bought the 2016 version is because I got it at a $1000 discount. Otherwise, it would’ve been the 2015 model all the way.

Here is what I don’t understand. Why carry a bunch of adapters? Buy 1 hub and keep it in @ all times. It is NOT … I repeat NOT the end of the world

No offense here at all, it’s awesome with your age that you’re so focused on the small details of tech. I used to work for various call phone/tech stores and it was your age we would expect a minimal knowledge base. You’ve gained my respect for being so interested in tech, also as far as dongles go, I own a MacBook Pro with touch bar as well and the only dongle I own is the HyperDrive which you might take into consideration when reviewing this product? It comes equipped with various ports that plug directly into the dual type c ports. Nice Vid!

I don’t understand the logic of not including the other inputs/outputs, like an HDMI, USB, and SD card reader. I have a $300 Lenova that has all of those. I could see if they were selling this laptop for under $1,000. I’m in the market for a laptop to replace my eight year old Dell desktop, to be used for Lightroom and Photoshop. I was really wanting to get my first Apple computer, but the lack of jacks rules it out for me.

Is apple even a relevant company anymore? They are so behind on refresh and all their products have problems now. iphones, defective keyboards, overheating cpu’s, busted imac stands. QC has gone to hell. Really sad.
