I’m considering to buy MacBook Pro 15″ between 2015 or 2016 model. I think I will go with 2015 due to it makes me feel love Mac as ever.

Thank you for the honest review. I was going to pick a 13″ MacBook with touch bar but after your review and my analysis, I’ve decided to purchase either a 13″ or 15″ previous generation as I am not a power user and feel that functionally, the previous generation is better for my needs.

I have a strong feeling this is going to absolutely bomb in sales. Questionable design decisions with a ridiculous price. Personally the power, the design and the gorgeous screen would have been enough for me to want to get this – but the UK prices are just utter madness!

Very disappointed with the new MBP I just do not like it and agree with Lisa. I would certainly consider the Surface Book / Pro against this, and like Lisa I have been using Mac’s since the mid 80s too.

What do you think about the older model still on sale on Apple’s website? Is it same model as the one you refer to in this video?
As an upgrade from Early 2011 for video and photo editing, would you advice that as opposed to this newest model?
Do you have reviews comparing the two?

Hey,

Can you please preform a battery test for two models with touch bar (13′ , 15′) cause I’m hearing that some people are getting 3 hours of battery life so if you can please preform a test and as well compare them with older models. We need your help so that we can return our New MacBooks and get the older ones

Settings provides an option to have the touch bar always display the the original mapping. Plus, I actually find the CONTROL STRIP controls to be faster than the old buttons.

thanks for a great review. I decided to buy the late 2015 Macbook Pro 13 Retina instead of the new version, mostly because of the dongle issue and lack of performance upgrade to justify the extra cost. I actually got a refurb from the online store and saved another 15% off of new (can’t find last year’s Macbook Pro new anywhere, it seems I’m not alone). Total savings of $700 plus I don’t have to buy dongles….

touch bar is not an alternative of touchscreen … also having 4 type c connection but not having usb, hdmı, sd cart connection on a pro laptop not acceptable …

I really feel like lately apple has been garbarge. The headphone jack, the touch bar, the trackpad, the keyboards, NOW BATTERY LIFE that was the only reason I kept my MacBook pro instead of getting a PC wtf??

This is a terrible review. On every other laptop is is finding nice things to say about the plastic junk she’s reviewing. Seems like on MacBook she can’t find anything but problem. Yet she’s wearing a Apple Watch. Has an iPhone and is a life long mac user. For some reason reviewers are terrible to give anything Apple a good review. While they all use macs explicitly.

I had been waiting for these laptop for a while but I’ve been put off by the price, the 2015 15 inch version is currently available at Amazon for $350 less than the 2016 version, I think I’ll go for it, should I?

I’m torn! I need a laptop upgrade and have been using Mac’s for a fair amount of years now but I have not been convinced by the new MBP! I have been looking at something like the Blade with the 1060 but not sure if I can commit to a new OS? WHAT DO I DO?
