People who has the 2015 model could most likely skip this Version as Lisa does. The next version, when it is released, will properly come at a time where they do not need to constrict the max amount of memory to 16GB for the sake of battery and at a time where usb-c/Thunderbolt 3 units are much more available than today. I wouldn’t mind one though, but it is not on the top of my want list.
Great review!
The issue I;ve with this macbook is the prize and the fact you do need so many add ons to connect your usb external devices to it….
I actually have a 2011 13″ MBP. Considering only weight and size, how does the 2016 15″ compare ? Has anyone of you actually seen one next to another ?
OK but on the flip side you don’t need to upgrade to to all the latest and greatest technology, and you just proves it whit all those dangles! Companies like Apple and other companies are just trying to convince you that you need all the latest stuff, they just want that you spend your money on it while there quietly dismissing popular standards in the meantime creating a user hostile experience!
You need understand this, they are companies and companies are to making money, not to lose it. And they don’t care …
The 15″ MBP keyboard feels better than the 13″ MBP keyboard? I didn’t expect there to be a difference between the two.
Best Review! Glad you hated it as well 😛
REALLY NICE VIDEO
The Macbook is indeed beautiful and while the TouchBar seems nifty and useful, it does me no good when my machine is docked. I really want a keyboard with the touch bar.
This is the MacBook to skip. That trackpad is way too big. Who would need it that big? Touchbar is not really needed either. At least for me. USB-c would be fine if the other line of products were USB-c but they are not. I would hope next years line would be.
The Touch Bar reminds me of the 2014 ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
Your an idiot if you buy this under powered machine ridiculously over priced no usb ports you can’t plug in your i phone or transfer your files from other devices with out buying an adaptor. Like who in the hell is this for this is suppose to be aimed towards professionals like why the heck do they still call it a pro?
The new MBP looks really fantastic. But the lack of legacy ports and physical F-keys just pushes me away…
What about for a first time buyer? Do u recommend the 2015 one or 2016?
I’m quite impressed with the new 15″ Macbook pro, but the price is eye watering down here in Australia, it starts at $3599AUD for the base model touch bar. My current 15″ rMBP (mid 2012) is starting to show its age so I’m looking to replace it. Would the Dell XPS 15 priced at $2549AUD for mid spec be a viable option to replace it? I’m familiar with both Mac and W10 so there’s not really much of a learning curve.
ClackBook Pro is funny!
Can u do hp envy 15 inch
Dongles Dongles and more Dongles
The DongleBook Pro smh , Not going to waste my money on it!
I would like to see a smackdown between the 2016 macbook and the 2016 surface book.
