Just a quick tip touch bar doesn’t eliminate fn keys when you press fn key you get to choose which fn key you want and you can make the standard touch bar show fn keys without even pressing the key in settings.
Hey Josh, did you upgrade to Big Sur on this? does it work well?
Hey Josh, I have a mid-2019 13 ” with a 2.4 GHz Quad-Core and my Geekbenck score was similar to your on the single-core and a bit lower on the multi-core – very surprising !!
Hey Josh! Been really enjoying your channel, you rock! when will you be doing a MBP M1 review?
Hey Josh! I know I’m a bit late to the MacBook game andei need a suggestion I found this base model MacBook Pro 2019 for about 700 bucks. Do you think it’s worth it in 2022? I won’t use it for much, just school work and web browsing. I also have an iPad Pro so I would try to distribute my usage evenly between them
Does it still make sense in 2023?
I did have several Macbook Pros 13″ since 2015, including this one. I do feel like are the best you can get for the money, but I also bought a Dell XPS 13 9310 and even the recent M1, M2 models I can say they have heavy competition on build quality, especially the Dells come with 4k (and I think 5K on the non-Oled) screens, so the screens are way above in Macbook. The only thing the Dell is not beating, is the touchpad, although way better than any other pc laptop, still not matching macbook pro’s one.
In the end, MacOS wins. I’m using Linux on the other PC devices I have, Windows is a no no to me, but the one that always keeps me on Mac (including Mac Mini at home) it’s MacOS and well integration with iOS.
