@TheKevinbrockett its cause intel and amd make new processors and GPUs every year…..if you get one now it shoudl last you a good while you dont have to upgrade every year it can last 2-3 years even more depending on what your using it for

If you are getting one don’t make the mistake I did. Get the 1200 model instead of the 1000.

@tldtoday Unfortunately I’ve also got the toshiba ssd (2011 model) and I wonder how did your “exchanging-your-ssd-plan” work as I would also like to have it exchanged or refunded, although I probably wouldn’t notice the difference between the two…(please don’t fuck me hard if you’ve already mentioned it on previous vids, I watched them all but I might have missed it Orz)
I’ve also spotted two faults on my mba:
1.There is ONE dead pixel on the top left corner of the screen.

@tldtoday 2. The screen and the keyboard doesn’t aline perfectly, about 0.1mm difference, you can’t see it, but you can feel it with your fingers(no pun intended)… 🙂
3. The battery cap or the aluminium cover at the bottom is not screwed tightly( one of them) which sorta makes the cap slightly flimsy, not a big deal but from time to time i could feel it…
Please reply as I have no clue if I could, or if I should get it replaced or fixed, thanks…

@FYETT I’m going to use it for school. I understand that the macbook pro has a better processor. However i game on a console not a pc. I don’t use video editing or conversion either. And i really want an SSD. I can afford a MBP but i’m not sure if it is worth it b/c adding an ssd is extremely expensive. But i don’t like how hard it is to upgrade a MBA for example the fact that the RAM is soldered to the motherboard.
