Props to Toei, finally decide to make a choice and adapt 1 full chapter every episode. At least, the pacing is a bit better now

I was thinking maybe they can do 2 chapters but it won’t fit in one episode. It will be an hour episode BUT finally, we have entered chapter 1040’s now. We are so close, 5 more chapters to go and we are gonna be witnessing the greatness that will break the internet

My neurodivergent brain couldn’t resist.

(I had to go to chapter 1041 and on the wiki for this part) This next episode won’t even tease Gear 5th due to the fact that side fights are going to take up the majority of screen time. That move Luffy uses right there is gomu-gomu no hydra, which is a combination of Black Mamba and Jet Culverin. This is obviously going to be at the end of the episode due to it being useful as a cliffhanger 🙁

Funnily enough there’s been leakers claiming to know the upcoming one piece schedule. Though some of the leakers did not foresee a week setback in schedule, we’ll see Gear 5th on either July 21st/22nd or 28/29th. I’m guessing 28/29th due to comparing the information and dates from two leak sources and the date to our most recent episode 1067 on July 1st. The leakers title the episode where Gear 5th is first seen as “Joyboy returns.” Though if we’re going at the manga’s pacing, we might get to see a teaser at the end of “Luffy Gear 4 loses”, my predicted air date is on July 21st/22nd.
