Impossible to find another anime this poorly produced. The only anime studio to keep blaming Covid 19 for their problems (a lie), instead of the real reason — the company’s inability to create an anime on schedule.

It started out as a funny anime, then lost most of its fans when people moved onto anime from studios that CAN keep to a deadline. At this point, I think it will be difficult for Atelier Pontdarc to sell any new anime they produce, as who would want to take a chance on them being able to finish it? Especially when, 10 years in the future, they will still be blaming Covid 19 for their own failures and thinking their fans are so stupid, they’ll believe me.

Having the last ep delayed for so long actually made it feel it has more weight behind it.
That being said I hope the sequel announcement won’t take nearly as long…
