– Oda was waiting to show the Herat Pirates abilities here rather than in Wano which I am guessing that their fighting techniques might relate to what animal they are named after like how Sachi (which means “orca”) blew water like a whale 🐳shooting water out of its blowhole
— Penguin I can see him being an even faster swimmer that Sachi
— Ikkaku (meaning “narwal”) I can see that maybe she is a spear / lance user
— Uni (meaning “sea urchin”) I can see him using spikes
— Clione (is the genus of sea slugs particularly sea angels) I can see maybe has a stealth ability
— Hakugan (his name was dropped in this chapter & it means “snow goose”) he seems to be the helmsman of the Polar Tang
– Well I think that if the Heart Pirates sink their ship & Law is able to disable Blackbeard & the Captains (which right now Doc Q without Stronger can’t really move & he maybe focus on putting his horse back together) on this island then they can escape before any backup arrives to retrieve them, but the Heart Pirates won’t be going empty handed because I think Pudding is going with them most likely using her acting ability to be a damsel in distress which Sachi & Penguin are simps so they would save her then bringing her onto the Polar Tang & thus would allow Law to learn about the Ponegylphs & the D Clan
– I do have a theory about Kuma’s past (which previously I guessed Bonney’s relationship to Kuma was wrong) now Oda drew him as a child we see he is dressed in raggy clothing carrying wood on his back while reading a book this to me at least tells us that Kuma was not born into royalty so I think that when he was young Kuma lived on the poor streets of the Sorbet Kingdom where he would do odd jobs around the kingdom in exchange for money, food, or even books. As we see him grow he might have encountered his Devil Fruit during when he was collecting wood gaining the Paw-Paw Fruit, but then one day he saw the Princess of the Kingdom getting kidnapped so being a good heart young man he saved her (which looks like Connie the queen dowager of the kingdom) & later marrying her becoming King then having their daughter Bonney. Kuma & the Queen reforms the Sorbet Kingdom thanks to the books that he read when he was young & all the while he has witness many evils of the world he has been asking to many questions about how the World Government would fix this, so the WG decided he was sticking his nose in their affairs along with him being from a Special Race so they make an example of him by framing him to be a Tyrant ruler (maybe making it look like he killed his wife) so much so he ran leaving the Kingdom with Bonney who had to live poorly similarly to how she was drawn like in the chapter & her SBS child image. After running he encountered the Revolutionary Army knowing that he was framed ask if he could help them by first pretending to be a king turned notorious pirate (no crew) so he can later asking him to become a Warlord, but after learning of the Pacifica Project he volunteered to gain Intel & get in touch with Vegapunk thus making an alliance between the scientist & Dragon
– As for Kuma’s race I did see something about maybe he is similar to Blackbeard which is very interesting connecting since both are brought up this Arc
