Non meme comment here- be warned
I love this OST. The climax gives me goosebumps, but that’s not what I wanna talk about. It’s the theme of the chimera ants, designed to represent their monstrosity. But when the OST first debuts, it’s during the backstory of Gyro, the human president of NGL, and I love that because it really highlights that the worst monsters out there are the ones that we make. This is further proven by how many times you hear this song when the anime is referring to humans and their actions too. They really outdid themselves during the chimera ant arc, from the music to the characters to the plot to the symbolism.
