The thing I like about this Opening is that it gives you a sense of Adventure.

I loved the 3 sections of the piece, it was like 3 movements, the slow thoughtful movement, like you’re waiting for something, the adventurous movement, the start of a new adventure ( I was reminded of the konosuba Ed), and the climactic ending. It was very enjoyable!

Man what a classic. I absolutely love how “complete” this cover feels, with a slower tempo first half building up to an energetic second half and grandiose finale. In a way this way this feels like a spiritual successor to “Everyday World”. The two songs even have (somewhat) similar sounding harmonies

Slower tempo intro cadenza – even though i’ve never watched this show, i get a sentimental vibe from the ambling nature of this section

Middle section – business as usual (in Animenz terms). An overall lively and pleasant mood

Bridge / pre-final chorus – as soon as 4:00 hit, that syncopated call and response gave me chills. Love that sound. Also, love the RH pattern at 4:15, especially with the cheeky little chromatic run at 4:25

Grandiose finale – Marvelous, feels like the hero riding off into the sunset.

Favorite recurring idea – rising and falling arpeggiated runs, especially in the final chorus (4:38) and closing statement (5:19)
