i downloaded it for my D5600 but idk what to do next…. is that file suppose to be able to open? how do i update my camera now that i have it downloaded? i can’t wait to use this function and i just found this out in 2021 lol, any help for an idiot when it comes to tech would be great. thaks!

Hi, thank you for the Great suggestion about the firmware update and wifi shooting. Now, I downloaded the qdsirdashboard and actually shot pictures in LV mode. I registerered but so far its not letting me login. I would like to know what all the controls are for that program. So far, I think I will have to try them out?

Bunch of bunk………….nothing about the wifi on the D7500 works, and the software Nikon provides is a joke! Wiif on the camera won’t stay connected, their Wireless Transmitter Utility has none of the setting options described in their instructions, and no matter what application I use, none will find the camera, mostly because every time I turn the wifi on on the camera, as soon as I open an app the wifi drops off line. If you don’t have a cable, your wasting your time!

With D5600 – is it only possible to use the remote via wifi?
If so then snapbridge is almost worthless i can’t connect to wifi if I’m not near one
