Can someone advise me? So yesterday I tried both M40x and M50x in my local electronic store. Audio sources were Spotify and a song I recorded (it has quite heavy bass). With the Mx50, both sources felt more flat, more balanced, with average bass level. With the Mx40, the bass was much louder and sound overall was maybe a little more muddier. I had to double check references, because I heard the opposite, m50x having heavy bass compared to m40x. Anyone noticed the same?

MSR7’s all day long. These models in your lineup can’t compete with the MSR’s on sound quality. After owning both the m50x and the msr7 , I gave the m50x to a family member after 1week and kept the msr7.
