can i mix master with m20x
Is there a significant difference in bass between the m20x and m30x?
using m50x for 1 year now. my advice would be if you are an average consumer who doesn’t really care much about music you should go with something marketed towards normal consumers and not audiophiles. if you want to enter into the audiophile headphone realm and want to hear every detail and wanna fully enjoy your music you can definitely go for these. m50x are a little more fun to listen to than the m40x whereas m40x are a little more accurate in terms of sound representation. If you have big ears you’ll find audio technical headphones to be painful. I am not able to wear my m50x for more than 30 minutes. If you are coming from crappy headphones audio technical m40x and m50x is definitely a nice upgrade but be warned that it will take a little bit of time to get used to the sound of these headphones and you’ll feel like they are trash and have no bass as these are audiophile-grade headphones these give you a nearly accurate representation of sound so it will take time to get used to these.
M40x hands down…. the best balanced over all. You cant say that m20x or m30x sounds great for the money. Consider to say sounds good for the price… but…
M40xs are better than m50xs. Had both of em
I need one of Audio Technica ATH-M50x
Which is better between Beyerdynamic DT770 pro and audio Technica m50x
They’re nowhere near the Studio headphone concept!!! lol…anyone analyses the sound profile of these headphones ??? Jesus christ ! I’ve owned the m40x for 6 years, theay are NOT studio monitor headphones !!! Huge treble boost around 7k and 12k …MASSIVE high freq boost and also low … How can you classify these as studio headphones ??? it’s a joke ! I had to do a massive eq correction to be just a bit close to ”flat” sounding otherwise they’ll blow your ears out! i don’t even want to mention about soundstage , TERRIBLE !!!… I’ve been working in studio since 1993…. IT’S NOT NICE AND FLAT, it’s not an honest sound! !!!!! Nowhere near flat !!! very boxy sounding average headphones……good for consumer listeners for music listening, but NOT for studio use !!!!
The M30x’s will just stop working due to a design flaw … don’t buy them… You’ll find it’s a common theme when it comes to the negative reviews on these headphones. Had one pair die on me after a few years.. I liked em’ so I went ahead and threw caution to the wind and bought another pair. They completely died after about 2 months of regular to light usage with no abuse. Stay away from these… buy something else.
Hi I’ve just bought ATH M50X and it’s awesome. Thanks for your vid.
M40X is the way to go. Soon I’ll be getting Philips X2’s to perfect the sound signature…balanced is where its at!
Really needed this vid, probably will pick up the M40Xs soon!
can i use the m20x for mixing as a beginner
M20x is better, m20x + m50x are better
That was a great review! Amazing set up as well 🔥👌🏿🔥
I have m40x since last 5 months .. I have no complaint about sound but My only complaint about audio technica is it has very bad comfort in my ears … and get warm
M50X
Man planning to buy the M30x or the M40x. I just want the detachable cable of the M40x tho. So i guess i should go for the M30x cus i still need some budget for a microphone. Oh and btw, new subscriber here. Nice vid sir B)
Confused between m30x or m20x ? Which one is more comfortable ?
These are fine for just everyday use right?
