Single mothers are overwhelmingly likely to vote for Democrats, as the party is seen as being more supportive of government assistance programs. Additionally, by keeping more people on government assistance, it helps to perpetuate the cycle of dependence and keeps people reliant on the government.

Of course, there are also more altruistic reasons why the left supports government assistance for single mothers. They genuinely believe that it’s the right thing to do to help those who are struggling. They see it as an investment in the future, as children who are raised in poverty are more likely to struggle themselves as adults.

Whatever the reasons may be, there’s no doubt that the left wants single mothers to be dependent on the government. And as the number of single mothers continues to increase, so too will the number of people reliant on government assistance.
