I bought a razer blackskark v2 few months ago, worst purchase in my life, i have no idea how they are allowed to market themselves as a good or gaming headset when in reality they are a steaming pile of dog shit, ive lost all of my respect for razer audio gear and their scummy marketing ploys, so moving forward ill be selling all of my razer gear, keyboard, headset, mouse and never touching them until they fix their shitty drivers or make decent products. Do not buy the blackshark v2.

I was looking at these when they were announced yesterday. They caught my attention. I know Razer’s over ear headphones have been pretty poor in the sound quality department, but they’ve at least generally had some good features for gaming.

I didn’t expect these IEMs to be top tier for music sound quality but I at least expected they’d be decent for gaming with a pretty good sound stage. Sucks that’s not the case. Also really wish Razer would stop throwing THX branding on everything like it’s still somehow a mark of high quality or something.

Fresh reviews really likes the truth ear zero for gaming and said that the red is almost as good with the adapter and a better sound overall. I bought one & yeah the imaging is surprisingly good. While I don’t think you set out to make a gaming IEM, your truth ear collabs are really good at it. Cheers.
