they don’t fold Michael, and the sound quality is almost the same if not better on the Sony, and now you can grab new ones for $250-300 so I’m not sure if your choice is accurate here but it is all subjective of course. I would never say it is worth the upgrade or a ‘better’ headphone, I would say the same more or less. I like the design though…

In my profile picture I wearing Sony 1000 2. Love them. Whenever they pack up or whatever major upgrade Sony come up with I stick to Sony. Features app and sound and comfort I feel will always be at an advanced with Sony. I mean how long did it take to Bose to sort it self out? Sony is like android.. Always advancing.

Need to know your thoughts on the Nuraphones and how you would rate by comparison to these and the wh1000xm3. I have a pair but with no benchmark and, esp. over USB with tidal and master quality audio they’ve changed my life

How do they compare to the Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay H9i? I can get those for over 100$ less than the Bose 700 at the moment (in my country). I’m more into good sound quality, anc is a nice bonus.

I have worn Bose QC20i in ear headphones continuously for about 3.5 years now and will never stop. They are amazing and far more comfortable than over ear ones.. I’m on my fourth set now because they break with such heavy use and every time Bose has replaced them f.o.c. I’m a Bose customer for life now..

I’m staying with qc35, I hate gesture controls, prefer the simple buttons, I don’t need NC adjustment, keep it always on. Also qc35 are more compact and better looking.
