I never listen to music when I’m running but I do when I’m at the gym, where wireless speakers are less essential. Even so I’m going to check out whether one of these products might help. Great first presentation Sarah!
Sarah is brilliant. Get her out front of camera more.
JBL Dive because of 1Gb space and dont have to carry anything with you. Recomend!
Powerbeats Pro have been working great for me for the past year or so. They get a tiny bit uncomfortable after while but if I just adjust them a little here and there….its fine. I like the super secure fit…they’re definitely not falling out.
Aftershokz Air for me. Never tried the Aeroplex, assume they’re better but the Air do the job perfectly for me. Perfect running headphones.
Sorry Anna but my running channel crush has just changed 😳🙊 oh yeah and i love my aftershokz too !!
This video came at the right time. With it getting darker earlier I ended up running without music which I found a bit tough. Ordered the Aftershokz after the positive review and reading through the comment section. Happy and safer running in the dark
I use the Galaxy Buds that came with my phone and I really enjoy them. They feel much securer than any regular headphones I’ve used before and the sound quality is better as well.
(And I didn’t even take time to find the perfect fitting fins yet)
I use Jaybird Vistas .. really good .. long battery life, case has good battery built in, great connectivity if you’re using both or just one, waterproof, fit really well and not huge, pretty good app with customisable equaliser etc. Very pleased.
What was the sound quality / profile like on the sound core spirit x2 as you didn’t mention this in the review?
I wish some running headphone reviews would include wired headphones. I use the nose sound sport wired headphones connected to a Bluetooth receiver with audio controls that I can clip to my waist or running belt. It gives much easier controls for volume and track selection compared to true wireless touch controls
I use a set of Cambridge Audio Melomania 1, they come with 3 silicone tips so you can get the right fit and they have a nice little charging case
Have Aftershocks Aeropex, only headphones I’ve run with. Like how I can hear around me so safer and like the button for pausing, can set it up, then pause & put phone in my belt, and don’t need to touch my phone again. Since they’re not in your ear they’re comfortable to use too
Plantronics Fit 3200. Flat out amazing.
I used my original Apple earbuds, they’ve worked pretty well over a long period of time. I’ve found recently that periodically one of them will just stop working mid-run, they aren’t flat but just disconnect – likely from too much sweat over time as they aren’t waterproof at all. I’ve replaced them with a set of Apple earbud pro, they’ve been good so far and with better sound quality. My only complaint with them is on hot days when I’m really sweaty the silicone and sweat will produce a full seal and the sound goes weird and I need to pull them out/wiggle them to break the seal so they sound normal again. I haven’t adjusted the size of the tip yet, but maybe doing that would stop this issue so will look into it.
I’ve only used Jabra, I’ve had my 75’s for just over a year. They are absolutely amazing. The app gives you great options for graphic sound and they sit in the ear perfect. I would buy again. And definitely recommend.
I have the Powerbeats Pro and really love the fit.
Nice demo guys and thanks for the variety of earbuds tested. I’ve thought about the aftershokz bone conducting phones because they sell them in my locally owned running store. They are sort or expensive and you can’t really test them first. Also the beats buds looked very nice and I imagine sounded the best. I use the Anker soundbuds from Amazon-they sell for 27 USD and last really well and when they wear out (about one year for me) cheap to replace. They link up to my Garmin music easily too.
Welcome Sarah. Nice to see you on the running channel. My next earphone will be a aftershokz openmove. Need to hear my surroundings.
Loved the video! And Sarah did a great job!!
As it starts to get colder and rainy, could you guys maybe do some reviews on different gear for different weather conditions?
