the noise cancelation really isnt all that great to be labeled as industry leading. I can still hear people calling me from downstairs and people ringing the doorbell. Theyre still great headphones tho

I’m thinking of getting these SONY WH-1000XM4 having had TWO AirPods Max Headphones that I have had to return having noise at times in the right ear cup and the second ones completely packing in.

I bought myself a set of the xm4 headphones as a Christmas Present last year. Well, I quickly returned them. For one, the call quality wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. It was okay, but not as good as I’d expected. Especially for the $300 price tag. My biggest issue wasn’t because of the sound which was very good, but because of the overall design. There was just so much plastic to the headphones and the ear pieces could really swivel and fold easily. That was the problem. I felt it would be to easy to accidentally break them. I never felt when I bought a pair of headphones with a case, that I actually had to be especially careful when using them. This is why I returned the Sony 1000xm4s. Like I said, the setting up with my iPhone was a snap and checking out the different EQ settings on the Sony app was quite a lot of fun. Glad people enjoy their headphones.
