I know it’s not going to happen, but hear me out;
It would be pretty neat if they could somehow bring a dual-CPU system to devices like these, because the thermal envelope changes so much when the base is attached versus when it isn’t. I could imagine something resembling a QPI link connecting the two CPUs in the two halves, which would enable the addition of extra RAM into the base, along with a dedicated GPU (though that would certainly cause issues when the screen is being detached) and the asses CPU would benefit from the extra cooling which is possible in the thicker base unit.
Why it won’t happen? Well, there is just not enough demand, and a lot of extra development would be required to make it work.
Would be very cool, though.

Starts off by saying its a tablet that attaches to a base. Literally the opposite of its intended use. It is a powerful notebook that can be used as a tablet. Pretty distinct as far as intention of use.
