What I’d really like to know is if it still has the throttling issue. The Surface Book 2 tends to clock back its CPU to 400mhz when it’s too warm out. When the sun’s on my Surface Book 2 in the office for like 10 minutes or if it’s generally warmer than about 22/23 degrees Celsius it absolutely grinds to a halt. It’s been a way bigger issue for me than the power drain, which in my 1.5 year real life usage has never been a problem.

I don’t get it… I have the Asus G14 with a 1660 Ti Max-Q and I have the same FPS as this, but on Ultra instead of Low. Why is the same GPU in the Surface Book so underpowered?

What about surface GO 2? You recommended it last year and with the rising need for budget good-quarantine-school device, I would expected it to be a quite interesting proposition.

Please don remove surface connect, i stop having cable pulling issue with it. i dont think its fair to compare it with others. dell are cheap but they always quality and service issues etc etc

I wonder if it’s possible to add a second processor in the base that could offload the calculations when connected. Then you can have a week processor for the tablet but a powerful one when connected
