Dave, have you reviewed a laptop from machenike?
Thats it…I´m ordering the gray 🙂
Agree for the grey instead of black! haha
I think everybody should use desktops for performance. And use laptop as a substitute.

dave look so old now
GPU inside keyboard was my idea
Just wait Dave review Dell G5 SE
Surface books crack the screen if you quickly close the lid..it’s a known problem. All the impact is on the top edge. I’ve deployed 100+ and have over 10 cracked screens. If they put a rubber stopper on the lid or at least smooth out the pointy edges below the trackpad..great device but close the lid gently!
A review on acer Nitro 5, 2020 edition, please?
If they used zen 2 AMD chips, I believe it would have made a way better device.
“Favorite over-ear headphone available right now”. Did you get paid to say that? Why a plastic headphone for 249$ ils tour favorite over-ear when you can find headphones with nobles materials and better performance for the same price ? Just for the exemple : odeze, B&W, Bang & Olufsen.
You are the same kind of guys who think that the bose 700 are the best headphones. Poor ears who never listen good quality headphones. 🤦🏻♂️
brilliant review ! i feel like dave is like the last few reviewers left who reviews from a customer perspective and appears completely unbiased,he is not trying to either praise or criticise the product or put some catchy headline he just tells you how he feels using it.
Where do I find the wallpaper?! Please help!
haahahah waiting for Dell G5 se review
Wow. Dave so against black colored stuff. He must be the anti-MKBHD
I have the surface book 2 15. Notable issues which a lot of SB2 users have had in common:
-GPU disconnecting / detection issues (Could happen with previous updates, but they released an irreversible firmware update around May 2019 along with Windows 10 version 1903 which took out my dGPU. It took them around 5 months to “fix” it, October 2019, but by this time, my gpu was already damaged and out of warranty). Basically microsoft updates killed their own flagship device
-Wifi was slow, inconsistent and also kept disconnecting, hopefully that got fixed this time
-The screen glass has a chance of breaking randomly if you put enough pressure on the lid (maybe when you close it or it’s squeezed in your bag) – because all the force is concentrated at the edge of the screen (for that hinge design) and some users have said it’s because of the sharp corners at the touch pad / lid notch
-No thunderbolt port – whatever. How about just letting people have TB and let them take the ‘risks’
-Limited upgrade / repair options – It is really hard to take apart, you can only replace the SSD. Replacing your thermal paste is even harder
And then they decide to use the same design lol
Hang on… you have to push a button to detach?! Seems like this is one of the first technical barriers Microsoft should have overcome when making a device of this kind. What happens if you forget to push the button before detaching? Does it damage the device? What happens if you detach and THEN push the button?… Is everything OK, or do you have to attach the tablet to the base and detach properly? If you CAN detach the tablet and push the button afterwards, why isn’t this just handled automatically by software? None of the questions I’ve just posed should be relevant. It’s just very poor design.
MKBHD: be like matte black everything
Dave2D: grey are so much cooler
Is it just me or does it feel like someone could just insert the tablet to the keyboard incorrectly and end up damaging it permanently?🤔
