About what you said of picking up a Razer or XPS + a Surface tablet… You are missing the point of this Dave, this device is meant to replace most of your gadget needs with a single solution. It is not going to be the best at each category, but it is definitely enough for my needs of a tablet for entertainment and sketching, a laptop for work on the go, a desktop replacement (to some extent), a gaming laptop (to some extent)…. My only other need is a Phone.

Also having your files on a single device is much more convenient than having an XPS + a Surface Pro or an iPad or whatever… Apple nailed Airdrop and continuum, but for us in the Windows+Android ecosystem, “Your Phone” and Nearby Sharing is still very limited.

I had the headphones on preorder to replace those god awful AirPods Pro, that was until I found out they’ve already been released in the US and the UK has to wait until the 8th June. Bad move Microsoft.

jeez, my eyes got really wide when i realized how good that webcam was. I almost couldn’t tell the difference between that and the normal video for a split second. all the other ones, when you switch over, look like dirt.

Hi Dave,

Good video, but MS really not innovating with the latest Surface Book this year.

You talk about alternative laptops that deliver. Can you look at the new HP ENVY x360 2020 Ryzen range in 13” and 15”?

I’d say even though they aren’t considered ‘Premium’ like XPS, they offer better bang for buck than (for example in 13” range) say the Dell XPS 9300! Nobody is looking at this range yet surprisingly!

I don’t need any of this tech, but I watch all these reviews just because I appreciate watching them and their production quality, his ASMR voice, and just the quick and to-the-point style that is so nice and informative. His and MKBHD’s videos, I just watch for fun.

they should sell extra bases for the older ones equipped with the newer GPUs

also if someone spills water on their SB they could just get a new base instead of a base+tablet

Love your Vids like always, i’ve watched Lous (Unbox Therapys) review and i mean it was way longer and less interesting. I love the way you pack all that Information in a small and
