I’m more interested in the headphones. Is there anything else you can say about them to make a more in depth video? $250 for some headphones isn’t bad at all imho.

Totally agree with you, Dave, this iteration of SB did not deliver – it’s nice, but not for 4-5K. I was waiting for it to buy, but was discouraged by lack of invention.

I owned the surface book 2 15inch with 1060
The design is wonderful and the quality is outstanding but there are more stuff I don’t like about this device than the stuff that I like….
The cpu is weak is low voltage I know, and it’s not a gaming laptop I know but believe me the cpu is weak it can hit 34% usage only by using chrome with 3 taps.
The gpu is also weak way weaker than a normal 1060. Beside all of these things if I use it as table the battery is very small and the fans are annoying, as a laptop the weight on the screen make it easier to tip over and very uncomfortable (see that’s why I also don’t like iPad with it’s keyboard).
It’s just an expensive laptop show’s how good is their engineering specially that hinge but it’s not practical nor understandable for the end consumer

Instead of having a surface book, why not just make a larger surface pro, and then make an at home dock that works with both the 12.9 and a new one, with a dedicated gpu. Then you get the best of both worlds.

This is the perfect device for architects. Powerful enough to run CAD modeling and rendering apps when docked and can be used for sketching undocked especially on the go.

Capacitive controls have put me off from Sony headphones, refreshing to hear you can turn that off on these. There is no excuse for fixed function buttons to be capacitive.
