I feel like this is very much a tick generation product, I hope next year’s surface book cuts down on the bezels a little (at least a bit, although I understand some bezels would be good for tablet functionality) and I hope the trackpad size in increased. I know it’s either the surface book or surface laptop I’m thinking of but one of them has the most satisfying trackpads to use I’ve ever tried (with size being the only downside), I believe it was the surface book and I hope it’s a bit bigger for the future being that’s one thing Apple has consistently been good with for its MacBooks.

Agree the SB3 is a letdown. The 15in model of the SB2 was as fast as equivalent XPS15 and even faster in GPU workloads.. 25w 4 core CPU was impressive.

If Microsoft put an AMD chip in the clipboard of the SB3 this would be an entirely different game, but then you lose a little battery. Furthermore it should have RTX 2060 Max Q, to match the GTX 1060 MQ last time.

No thunderbolt 3..wow… Microsoft should have just upgraded the CPU chip as a refresh, and kept the SB3 for USB 4.0 and 6 core U series

I wish Microsoft can make a traditional claim shell power house laptop that can match up to Dell XPS. Their build quality is great, but not everyone want or need a two in one.

Any thoughts on gaming with the headphones? I am looking for a good pair of headphones to take with me most places but I would also like it to double as something I can play with. I know it has a wire you can put and use but I am slightly worried about the mic for discord and such. Thoughts anyone?
