Decent job microphone for the price sheesh it’s over $500 aus dollars it’s my bday in 2 days and my dad asked what I wanted for my birthday. I’m considering these, as my Beats Pro Bluetooth ones are just causing allergies inside my ear but they’re easy to carry around.

Wish these were foldable tbh

Are all features fully available as a wired headphone? It seems NOBODY is talking about the MASSIVE damage bluetooth and wireless headphones are doing (apart from Darin Olien – and he is not reviewing headphones, hes focussed on health). So I NEVERRRRRR want wireless or bluetooth headphones, cable only. Is the NC capability the same with the cable in? can bluetooth always be turned off? are the gesture signals useable with a cable? Thanks

The previous version XM4 earphones passed every sweat test while I was using them for a year. Just switched to XM5 headphones and stupidly went for a run what turned out to be a very hot day… Well… They didn’t slip but they got soo sweaty inside. I got a bit scared but they still work so I guess if you don’t sweat buckets from ears you should be good 😅

Just watched this 11 month old video having just bought a pair of XM5s two weeks ago. I have to say I love them. After only having them for two weeks I think your review is pretty spot on. There will always be things that can be improved like the USB’s listening issue but for now I’m totally happy with them.

I bought the XM5’s and then, about a month later, bought Airpod Max’s. The XM5’s are pretty good. The NC is superb, as is the comfort, but the sound is muddy and the sound stage is too small for me. I found them a little disappointing. The Max’s are better in almost every way (especially sound quality), however, they are heavy and after a fairly short period of time wearing them is becomes very obvious. You really can’t lay down wearing the max’s. Also the NC is excellent but probably only about 90% of the Sony’s.

I’m seeing a lot of comments online saying this product has a build problem which involves the hinge rotator cuff part breaking very easily (like a month of use), is this true? I’m thinking of returning this product or exchange them for Bose Quiet Comfort since it doesnt seems too durable can anybody help me 😥😥
