Does anyone hear a low hiss from their Sonys with anc turned on? I exchanged my first pair because of the hiss, but it’s also in the second pair. I’m thinking of returning them and go with bose.

I disagree about the sound quality section. I bought both and compared side by side. I found the Sony to be slightly unpleasant (across various genres) and Bose to be silky smooth. I am not an audio engineer, but am a listener with an appreciation for nuance. I loved (and love! Now have had it for ~1 year) the sound quality of the Bose.

I got the Bose 700s and the best part for me, since I work remote, is I can take zoom calls in coffee shops no issues with noise. So I don’t have to work from home anytime I need to take a meeting. The Bose 700 really unlocked that for me so super happy with my choice

OK no the Bose because I use these every day are some of the best headphones have ever used the reason they don’t have a lot of bass is because they’re not meant to say accentuate the Nets and the higher and the Mrs. where about 80% of the instruments the vocals and the music live that’s what you want to accentuate where the music is you do have an option to boost the bass if you really want to through the equalizer you didn’t really showcase the app that the Bose have yes people the Bose 700 have an app that you can adjust things through including equalizer user set up and noise canceling set up while not as in-depth as the Sony is still worth mentioning you want a pair of headphones to be flat across-the-board really lo Sabes and very high top in and mids because that’s where the music is you don’t want to destroy your music with the bass and that is the point trust me guys I am a total audiophile and have probably easily tested 100 different pairs of headphones because I love sound I just haven’t ever had a really good listening experience with Sony but if you’re ready to drop or stacks on a pair of Bose’s I really recommend these headphones they are really much better than he is letting on

I bought a xm3 in March 2020 and it died on me this January. I returned it to amazon and got a Bose 700. I must say the sound is probably better on the Sony and they allow you to choose more style of sound quality. I have a Bose QC25 bought in 2008 and it’s working fine. I find the fit of Bose more comfortable on my ears. I just hope my Bose 700 will last longer.
