You do have the option for plugging a cord in with a headphone jack, it is a feature on em, you can listen to stuff without any battery left

Although look further cause there are things he missed on the Bose that may make them more appealing to you

I have been using both Bose NC 700 and Sony XM4. XM4 is way better in sound quality. No comparison.

I prefer the Bose Q35, more sleek than Sony, lightweight, same noise cancellation of Bose 700, better call quality, less expensive at $199.

i just ordered these after some deliberation. Thanks for your review. The one thing that is really disturbing is there is no mute button or gesture on the headset for the mic. what a terrible design decision.

Really enjoyable review/comparison. I do wish you’d address latency, though, as I’m in the market for new headphones that I’ll use to watch movies/tv on my computer.

Bummer .. mic voice quality is important for me because i would like to use it working from home to take
microsoft office meeting! Leaning toward Bose 700. Audio music quality is second to me.

You can really tell you don’t know your Bose ACN 700… firstly, the bose are also controled through touch on the right ear cup. Secondly, there IS a talk feature, you need to shortly hold the button that’s in charge of changing the noice cancelation level, and it pauses music and enables transparency mode, when done just double tap to play the music and it’s back to normal. Anddd lastly, the bose are simply more convenient, turn them on and they’re instantly connected to your iPhone and Mac and they give you the only real thing your headphones gotta tell you, their remaining play time.

Hey, at 6:10, you don’t have to go to the app, you can just put 2 fingers on the touchpad and hold and speak to chat will go off or on.

As far as I’m concerned, anyone who puts *touch controls* on *headphones* shouldn’t be designing hardware. That’s such a terrible idea I can’t believe they released an actual product with it.
