Can you find an amazingly balanced and great quality headphones? Amazing video, I can’t believe you turned some (bad?) earbuds and made them sound like it was good in the end. U r amazing for marketing.

Glad I found your review. I actually got a pair from BH but also found the bass was too artificial. And also I notice that gouge marks on yours and there on mine’s too. Gonna probably return. Thanks for the review vid 🙂

I’m glad I found this video before I bought these headphones on Amazon; a few days ago, they were for sale in the $50-60 range, but now they jumped back up to that $80 price. I definitely can’t spend that much cash on a subpar pair of headphones.

I just picked these up for the same price. I’ve already put them through a good workout and to be honest I am satisfied with their performance. However, you did point out some things about the build quality that I also noticed in my headphones. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, but what else do you recommend within this price range?

Aside from the REALLY annoying cables, I think they are great.

I didn’t get those gouges you stated so maybe just a bad pair? Excellent audio quality (better than the Jaybirds X2 for half the price), long battery life, sweat resistant. I’m listing them in my bang for buck devices.

I discovered this while looking at the X2s and the Bose Soundsport wireless which both retail at 130-150 then accidentally saw these. Thought they’d suck since they’re half the price of both but was overwhelmed at its audio quality. It’s on par with the Bose SS Wireless and better than the X2s.

The in-ears are huge but they are very comfortable to wear except for the cable. The cable irks me since I can feel it at the back of my neck. I need to buy an alligator clip for it.

So aside from the cable, I’d recommend this highly to anybody. Of course it doesn’t have the features like tap to go to Google Now or Siri but it has the basics and if all you’re doing is run, workout, answer calls and music then this one will be your best bet .

mine is fine and well manufactured. I bought it back from Hong Kong btw. I lost one earbuds unfortunately while it was hanging on my neck when I wasn’t listening to music. battery life seems pretty good but that’s the diff between wireless and wire. mine’s blue color too.

I like the video but I’m using these headphones and there tanks I really torture my earbuds and they’ve held up to the abuse and I do not have the gaps and seems that yours do

I just got these and I’ve found that the back button and forward button don’t work, I just get a beep sound and the song does not skip. also when i press the power button to make a call, nothing happens

Do the Sony MDR-XB50BS have Siri capability? Also, have you done a review on the x3’s?
Say, while I have been researching I came upon truly wireless earbuds. Have you reviewed any of these? I really like your review.

Do you have any idea why my Sony MDR-XB50BS won’t connect to my Surface Pro 3? I disconnected them from my iPhone.
Also, have you ever done a chart listing the different devices you have reviewed w/ specs and pros and cons? Or do you know where I could find that? That would be a great addition to your reviews. THen people can pick and choose the headphones that best would suit their needs. I purchased the SOny MDR-XB50BS from Best Buy on Thanksgiving Day. But I didn’t realize that you can’t use Siri with them.
