I have bought this product and can say with the confidence DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY or Sony needs to drop the price by $200 bucks the mic alone is a deal breaker
I have the Arctis Nova Pro…but man is the ANC absolutely garbage on those…it shouldnt be advertised it THAT bad…it introduces tons of creeky noises and terrible distracting sounds… (tested 2 models already, both the same)
How loud an environment do you need to live in for ANC to even be a factor for gaming headsets?
Having ANC on will always have a noticeable impact on audio quality and resolution (as the drivers are constantly playing inverted soundwaves as well as the audio you want to hear) – it isn’t something you want on unless you need it.
Unless you actually need ANC whilst gaming, you are paying for a feature that is ideally turned off…
Does the eq software save the eq adjustments so it works on ps5 or is it only for pc?
How about swetting issue ? Even winter my ears getting wet in all headphones tried.
Does it connect to ps4?
Is it possible you do the JBL quantum 810s. They seem better then the H9
Arctis Nova Pro is 150€ more then the H9. That is like a full headset. Don’t think both are comparable.
Dude compared like this the HS80 is SERIOUSLY impressive.
These seem cool but look goofy af.
Hey guys I have a pair, it’s works, but it won’t charge, when I plug it in to charge, orange light turns on, but turns off 30 secs later and it has 0 bars, how do I fix it?
Anyone else getting static noise from right side? If mine are blown somehow then thats bs
Lmao I want to skip but I needed that 9 years of luck thank you for that 😂
wish you would have used the mic audio on the headset when talking about the headset
hyper x cloud II best budget headset and that Corsair is FIRE
I use the Inzone H7 for my ps5 and the Corsair HS80 for my PC. Works out great honestly. I might upgrade to the H9 at some point but I am really really happy with the H7 for PS5.
Over 30 minutes of UNSKIPPABLE ads in a 12 minute video?!
I used it each day since two week and I love it , however I been a bit surprising of the sounds from the mic.
I use it only on PS5 and I feel it look more clear.
I felt some mic sound better on pc or console.
Am just curious if it will get update as XM series
Let’s see how it will evolve…
I’ve just bought mine and the mic is not as bad as I feared. Also a surprise once I updated them via inzone hub – mic sounded better than out-of-the-box (sound feels more full and not so hollow). They are not as good as my old cooler master mh752s, which is kind of obvious. Wired headset will be lighter, sound better with better mic. For a wireless headset inzone h9s are great. They fit my head great, I can wear them for hours and not feel tired. The main con is definitely the lack of inzone hub on ps5. Something to improve for sure.
I’m an audio engineer and I love everything about this headset except for the way it sounds. Pretty big deal. I realize that with proper EQ control I could probably tune it to be really nice, though. The bass and highs sound great, but everything from SFX to dialog (the important stuff in a video game) sounds washed and muddy. The software looks like it has enough EQ bands for me to get the job done, buuuuut… no Mac version. I realize this isn’t uncommon, but all of the H9’s literature calls them Mac compatible. I imagine that means just as a headset. I am only using this headset on my PS5. Now I have to get an old PC out, hope the software installs on it, calibrate from a PC (which is already pretty inconvenient, they’re marketed hard at PS5 players so it would be nice to control them fully from the console), then spend some time going back and forth from console to PC fine tuning. They really should’ve just left the EQ flat (which is what I’m going to try first – I hate how consumer audio always applies some arbitrary coloring that makes the hardware sound worse, that comes from the smiley face EQ pop music theory and engineers already apply that to basically everything now so it’s beyond overkill), the bass boost makes it sound terrible and turning it off is a bit overcomplicated. I’m going to do all of that to see if I can get the sound somewhere I like. I got them on eBay open-box for $150. If I can get them sounding good, I know I’ll love them. I just might have to take off work to get it done…
