Its ”gaining” less than a quarter of the drain. Under studio lighting! They expect you to use this under direct sunlight or leave it in direct sunlight?!? As for solar calculators, I’ve opened a few which are fake(panel acts more like a ldr on off) and as for the real ones, calculators are far more efficient then a headphone.

Should have specifically tested the solar-powered-ness considering that’s the title of the video… if it were another title and it was just spoken of as a feature in this Shortcircuit, I would have been okay with that

I’m super skeptical they they’d ever really have an infinite battery, but it’s still a super cool idea regardless. I’m a big fan of everything trending towards having their own power sources at a smaller and smaller scale.

This is actually really dope. I love solar cells everywhere I had them even when it is “too slow” to charge. When you need something badly the difference between 5% charge and 0% feels like a lot
