I’m suprised the designer didn’t include a way to attach prescription lenses for glasses wearers as he is one too! PSVR2 looks like a great piece of hardware

A work of art no question about it. But i hope they factored in durability better than they did with PS5 controllers. i have burned through 4 controllers already.

My hats goes off to my fellow design engineers! Now hopefully consumers can see why it takes so long for products to be released and why they cost so much. From designing the PCB(electronics) & all the plastic structures to hold and make sure everything works together, takes a great deal of time and trial and error. Great job gals and guys! Can you guys do the PS5 teardown next?

Of course if you don’t know what you are doing you are at risk of damaging your product but if in the United States disregard the “Disassembling your PlayStation VR2 will invalidate your manufacturer’s guarantee” as this statement is illegal by manufacturers. A “guarantee” is and implied “warranty”. Nice video however.

I’m one for tinkering with things and opening them up to see how they work, but after watching this I’m never opening up my PSVR2, LOL. Waaay too many parts and screws.

Thank you, it looks great and of high quality, a very interesting video analysis format, now I’ll go and see how they put it all inside a compact and wireless Pico 4 with a battery on board and all this for $ 450.

It’s expensive 600+ and 500 or 400 for ps5 but vr was never cheap.

Now I know the reason behind the divided parts on the top of the headset. I thought those are buttons. But to think that they did that because of the feedback from users for the PSVR to avoid the strain on the side of the head. That is absolutely amazing.
